What is the IES Virtual Environment?

The IES Virtual Environment (VE) is a comprehensive suite tailored for assessing building performance. This tool aids designers in examining various options, pinpointing passive strategies, evaluating low-carbon and renewable solutions, and deriving insights about energy consumption, CO2 output, and the comfort of occupants. Notably, the VE boasts an interconnected central data system, compatible with platforms like Trimble’s SketchUp, Revit, Vectorworks, and also supports imports from gbXML, IFC, and dxf.
