ContractMaster, LiveCount and Estimation MEP by Trimble receive ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification
Trimble MEP is pleased to announce that the cloud-based estimation modules ContractMaster (also known as Enterprise Estimating), LiveCount and Estimation MEP, part of the Total Estimating offering, have recently achieved the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification. This certification recognises Trimble’s commitment to providing customers with the highest level of information security management.
This global standard, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), sets more than 100 requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organisation. Following an extensive audit process, the certification was issued to ContractMaster, LiveCount and Estimation MEP by Schellman & Company LLC, an accredited ISO certification body based in the United States.
“We are very pleased that many of our cloud products are now certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 compliant,” said John Miles, Senior Engineering Director, Trimble MEP.
“As we delivered more and more cloud solutions, it was extremely important to give our customers the highest level of confidence in our security processes and platforms. This certification is paramount to benchmark our security procedures to the best practices in the industry, and it also demonstrates Trimble’s deep commitment to delivering the highest quality of security for our customer data entrusted to our platforms.”
